Wendy Morton-Huddleston is an award-winning and highly strategic leader with a proven track record of success across both the public and private sectors. She currently serves as the CEO of WMH Advisors LLC, a strategic consultancy that delivers impactful solutions in governance, leadership development, risk management, boardroom readiness, and branding. Wendy is particularly passionate about empowering women leaders and fostering meaningful alliances to elevate their careers and influence.
A published thought leader in enterprise risk management, governance, and financial strategy, Wendy brings a wealth of expertise to her work. She is a Board Director for NABA Inc. and the United Way National Capital Area (NCA) and has previously served as the National President and Board Chair of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA). Wendy has also held key advisory roles at prominent organizations, including Grant Thornton and Guidehouse.
Wendy’s educational background reflects her commitment to excellence in leadership. She holds an MBA and an MS in Finance from the University of Maryland, a BBA from Norfolk State University, and an Executive Leadership Certification from Cornell University. Additionally, Wendy earned her Corporate Board Governance Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Wendy is deeply committed to advancing gender equality and empowerment through her scholarship endowment, “Gender Equality and Empowerment,” managed by Ivy Community Charities in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Outside of her professional life, Wendy is an active member of Women on Course, where she enjoys networking, golfing, and traveling.
