January 1, 2018, Arlington, VA— Organizational Development Resource Group (ODRG) supports the Department of Defense (DoD) field activity’s new Talent Management Directorate (TMD) in efforts to develop, advise and manage training activities that provide essential learning opportunities to the DoD, civilian and military personnel, meeting their development needs. ODRG provides programmatic, administrative, end-to-end training development; policy, process, and procedure development; governance structure; communications; branding, facilitation; and advisory support services on this contract.

ODRG’s goal is to develop the TMD’s core curriculum, leadership development program, job rotation program, and coaching and mentoring program to service 1,200 civilian and military personnel supporting mission critical program across the DoD.

As the Enterprise focuses on their succession planning efforts, ODRG continues to successfully establish training activities and programs to develop and retain aspiring and emerging leaders to fill critical positions in the near future.

ODRG’s Senior Project Manager, Lakeisha Taylor emphasizes the impact of these trainings to “closing the gaps between current workforce skillsets and future required skillsets for mission-critical programs—knowledge transfer from current to emerging leaders.”
